SUSTAINABILITY IN SSWML
Sustainable waste management involves collecting, sorting, treating, recycling, valorization and disposal of various types of waste in a manner that does not jeopardize the environment, human health or future generations. It is important to observe sustainability in this aspect so that every bit of waste can be managed in an effective and efficient manner rather than just dumping it in unscientific manner.
SSWML understands responsibility to maintain sustainability for the benefit of our environment as well as future generations.
SSWML is aimed to reduce the amounts of natural resources consumed, reusing the materials taken from nature as much as it is possible, and creating as minimal waste as possible to enhance circular economy and offers many opportunities and benefits to both the economy, the society and the environment.
SSWML has adopted well-functioning sustainable waste management practices which emphasize on processes to maximize diversion of wastes from the disposal and dispose the waste in scientific manner.
All the SSWML facilities are example of environmental sustainability and can thus be a replicable model.
